Young athletes across the North Country will have the opportunity to sharpen their basketball skills this summer as the Peru Big Blue Boys Basketball Camp returns from July 13–17, 2026 at Peru Central High School.

Designed for players from Kindergarten through 12th grade, the camp focuses on developing fundamental basketball skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and the proud tradition of Peru basketball. Participants will take part in skill-building drills, competitive games, and instruction aimed at helping players improve their overall game.

Camp sessions will run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a shortened session on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Players in Kindergarten through 2nd grade will attend from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Registration and check-in will take place on July 13, the first day of camp, in the Peru High School Lobby from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Camp fees are $85 for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade and $140 for athletes in grades 3 through 12.

Organizers encourage players from all school districts to attend, promoting the camp’s message of “Train Hard. Play Together. Rep Peru.” The week-long program provides a valuable opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills, build confidence, and prepare for the upcoming basketball season.
